ADAMS RITE AEROSPACE WINS NEW CONTRACT WITH EMBRAER AS POTABLE WATER SYSTEM SUPPLIER FOR EMBRAER LEGACY 450/500 PROGRAM
Expressing their continued confidence in our company, our products and our people, we are proud to announce that Embraer has chosen an Adams Rite Aerospace Potable Water System for use on the new Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 mid-sized jets.
We are excited to have been chosen as a partner on this program. Our company has enjoyed a close working relationship with Embraer since 2002, when we were also selected for our bleed-air water system solutions for Legacy 600, early on in the program. Building upon our experience developed over prior years, we customized a reliable, light-weight and, most importantly, trouble-free water system to support the galley, the lavatory and the optional crew lavatory on the Legacy 600.
Adams Rite Aerospace holds a unique position in the business aircraft water system market. We are able to provide both a complete water system as well as a variety of faucet technologies and aesthetics that are specifically tuned to the water conservation demands of our customers while also meeting the appearance and function demands of the aircraft owners. To take it a step further, we are also able to offer our custom designs for door hardware, cabinet hardware and interior lighting for the lavatories, galleys and the entire cabin.
We offer a range of flexible water system designs to suit the particular aircraft configuration and customer specifications. These designs range from systems with fixed tank(s) and external service ports to systems with removable tanks (for service/de-service) as well as gravity feed systems. They can include level sensing, CMS/OMS interface, water temperature control, diagnostics, synoptics, “watch dog” safety circuitry, freeze protection, and in-flight draining. Each features our proven technologies that are matched to ours customer’s demands. Our Embraer Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 water system design will include new provisions to support the use of the vacuum toilet system.
