During the past couple of years ARA and partners has developed a Light Weight Ballistic and intrusion proof Cockpit Door Module that meets all FAR requirements. The Module will include electronic door control and ventilation requirements in case of a decompression. The CDM will bring new technology to Airbus and provide significant weight savings over current technologies.
